Wasn’t expecting much…but I’m definitely happy with the purchase.
Pros: Big, bright and vibrant screen. The weight is comparable to a much smaller TV, making it easy to hang or attach to a wall arm mount. Has a number of default settings that change automatically to use…think gaming, movies, sports. Several sound output options are available but(see cons). Oddly, the feet are noteworthy, they’re solid aluminum and very sturdy.
Cons: Bad speakers, you will need to supplement with a soundbar or surround system, nuff said. You have to navigate the menu every time the TV is turned on. There remote functionality is very limited, the menu button does not take you to the actual settings, again, you have to navigate the OS to get to full settings. Bluetooth connectivity is only accessible in full settings, but once done, works well.
Amazon is making every attempt at standardizing what they want your TV experience to be. It’s quirky and nuanced, lending more to what you would find on an OS where you have every option available, forcing you to choose what you want to do each time…like you would with a PC.
I would recommend this TV, just be prepared for the business of the home screen…every time.
